Dear User,
Small Changes to Our Services

Since the inception of Lost & Found Items - Cameroon since 1999 and the site (www.lostandfounddocuments.blogspot.com), we have been offering a free service to re-unite people and their lost and found Items. To us, the Lost and Found Service has been a passionate demonstration of the humane feeling we share with the public. All the information about the item and finder/seeker contacts details were in the public and displayed at our main office for all to see. Unfortunately, many other unreliable individuals have taken up our idea and purport  to offer similar services. Some of them are even riding on our free platform by accessing our listings, taking it as their own, and charging on the service. Worst still, some even use the names and contact numbers of victims of lost items to request for free credit as a condition for releasing their found items. From 5th September 2015, we have put measures to ensure that this happens to a minimum by introducing the following;
1.      Small edits will be made on all items posted to conceal user contacts before they can appear on our site.
2.      We will charge a small fee to anyone who wants to gain access to the above concealed information.
1.      Those seeking their Items will bear the charge if their contact details are to appear on site.
2.      Contact details of those posting found items will remain concealed and will only be divulged to the owner upon payment.
3.      Seekers have an option of maintaining their listing at the top of search pages by making them premium. Contact the numbers below for details.
4.      All ads seeking or reporting a missing person are free. However, victims of lost items (those under the custody of MTC Lost Property Office) are expected to pay a Consultation Fee of at least 5.00Fcfa and a Retrieval Fee which is 20% the cost of the item. For example, an ID Card in Cameroon which costs about 6.000Fcfa to make would cost you 1.200Fcfa to withdraw. Both Consultation and Retrieval Fees can either be paid by reporting in person at MTC Head Office or through MTN and Orange Money Transfer using the following numbers: 677534247 or 699209877
5.      Finally, All money should be sent to the following numbers onlyas our authorised employees to assist in this regards.
MTN Money - 677534247 (This number is active for both voice calls and SMS)
Orange Money - 699209877 (This number is active for both voice calls and SMS)
You can also contact us through following phone numbers:
Direct Line: 242 14 48 48 (This number is active for both voice calls and SMS)
Land Line: 222 31 03 83 (This number is active for voice calls only)
All other aspects of this service and site remain constant. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this might cause.

Yours Faithfully,
MTC Lost Property Office - Cameroon
Administrator.
