4 Easy Recovery Steps
Find, Register/Validate/Login, Post item, Recover
1.      You have Found/Lost an item.
2.       Register for a free account with a valid email address and a password and phone number of choice. You will receive an instant email from Lost and Found Items Cameroon with a link to validate your account.  If you have done so already, login with your user name and password AND PHONE NUMBER.
3.      You can now post your item for free.
4.      If you are seeking a lost item that has been found and posted on this site. Contact finder/seeker to recover it/ give it back.
You can do a search of the site to see if your lost/found item has been reported lost or reported found. If you are seeking a lost item, subscribe to your search and you will get an automatic email notification should someone post it on the site.
Note: All Items posted on the site have to be approved by the administrators to make sure they adhere to the site policy.

Hours: 8:00am to 7:00pm. daily (365 days a year)
Location: BIYEM-ASSI STADE, YAOUNDE.
 
 
Filing a Lost Item Report
  • You may file a lost item report in person, by phone, or e-mail. You will need to provide the following information when filing a lost item report:
    • Name
    • Address
    • Telephone Number
    • Date the item was last seen
    • Location where item was last seen
    • Complete description of the lost item (colour, size, brand, etc.) and its contents, if any
  • If you think the item was stolen, you also may want to file a stolen property report with the Any Police District or by calling our office for help  22231-0383.
  • Items found along the streets, in bars, schools, hotels, public offices, train stations, travel agencies, in the airport terminal, parking garages or drive areas are stored securely in Lost and Found for 6 months  before disposition except personal certificates and unexpired id cards and passports.
  • For items lost or left on an airplane, please contact your airline.
Retrieving Lost Items
  • MTC Lost and Found Staff will secure all found items and make every effort to research and locate potential owners. You may arrange for the return of items by:
    • On-site pickup: If you properly identify items, you may pick them up during Lost and Found's regular hours of operation. We require a picture ID at time of pick up. You may pre-arrange an after-hours pick up by calling 242144848 during Lost and Found's regular hours of operation.
    • Cameroon Mail: The Lost and Found office can return small items via the Post Office.
